Onur Aydın

Born in Espiye, Giresun, in 1987, Onur Aydın completed his undergraduate studies at the Faculty of Business Administration, Anadolu University. He has successfully combined his academic background in business management with practical field experience, building a solid and consistent career path.

Aydın began his professional journey in 2011 at the General Directorate of Tea Enterprises (ÇAYKUR), one of Türkiye’s largest and most established industrial organizations. Working there between 2011 and 2013, he gained invaluable experience regarding the work discipline, hierarchical structure, and operational processes of a large-scale State Economic Enterprise. This period provided him with a significant vision regarding corporate functionality and institutional discipline.

Since 2013, Aydın has directed his career toward academic administration, serving at the Giresun University Tirebolu Faculty of Communication. With over a decade of experience in this role, he has developed deep expertise in managing administrative workflows, overseeing bureaucratic processes, and preserving institutional memory. He is known for his solution-oriented approach in navigating the dynamic academic environment involving both students and faculty members.

Leveraging this organizational competence and communication experience, Aydın joined the MAREINS team to support its mission of conducting world-class research in Management Information Systems. Serving as the key figure in “administrative support and coordination”, he oversees official correspondence, plans scientific events, and manages the team’s operational requirements. Through his disciplined and meticulous work ethic, he ensures a seamless administrative foundation, allowing MAREINS researchers to focus exclusively on scientific inquiry.
