Emre Özyürek, born in Yozgat in 1988, completed his undergraduate studies in Public Administration at Anadolu University. Throughout his career, he has successfully integrated the disciplined work ethic gained from his time at the Land Forces Command with the administrative experience acquired in the Rectorate and General Secretariat units of Giresun University. During his tenure in both public and military institutions, Mr. Özyürek specialized in official correspondence management, information processing procedures, archiving operations, and data tracking. His proficiency, particularly in corporate information technologies and digital documentation processes, coupled with his planning capability and solution-oriented approach, has been instrumental in ensuring the successful workflow and coordination between academic and administrative units.

Since 2025, he has held an active role in the administrative structure of the MAREINS research group, which was established with the vision of fostering an interdisciplinary research culture in the field of Management Information Systems. Mr. Özyürek’s involvement is motivated by the necessity to support the group’s goal of achieving a sustainable innovation environment with a robust administrative infrastructure. In the background of the group’s flagship work in health informatics and its other scientific projects, Mr. Özyürek diligently builds the bureaucratic order and institutional memory required for researchers to focus solely on their scientific output. He achieves this by facilitating corporate communication, managing formal writing procedures, and coordinating the organization of academic events.
